the shape of things to come
today marks a new chapter. the countdown to exodus will commence and destiny, fate, and worlds collide. it is with apprehension and excitement that I move on.

| As Ryan Carter, I live on earth (which is nice this time of year), have an overactive imagination and sense of humor. I am analytical, cynical and a very deep person, which makes me interesting and a good friend, but a very hard shell to crack. I am a geek in every way..., I love knowledge, learning, and tackling impossible things to see if it can be done. I am a problem solver and a thinker who likes a challenge. I love stories, people, and laughing. I am a system anomaly, and I am here to rock the world from its foundations and destroy the orthodoxy of everyday. I live in my own world of thought and meaningless (it seems to everyone else) technical details. My favorite questions are what if and why not, and I have an insatiable thirst for truth and the heart of the matter. I enjoy studying the "way-too-hard" stuff like quantum physics, string theory, relativity, spirituality and other geeky stuff. I love sci-fi, video games, TV shows, movies, books, and music. Since this sounds like a dating site and a personal ad, I am going to shut up now...I promise. In a minute. Even this definition of me bothers me because I don't like to be drawn into a box, since I am incapable of thinking inside it. I believe there is an explanation for everything, even though the answer is often that we are too small to understand. I love God, my wife and kids, and hurting people everywhere. I am a christian in a very loose definition only. I am not what many consider "christian" these days. I hate politics, religious nonsense, unreal people, and credit bureaus. read more/less | |
